A detailed, eye-level shot of a small, ornate shrine dedicated to the Hindu god Ganesha. The shrine is constructed entirely of intricately carved off-white marble, which shows subtle variations in tone. It is nestled within a larger alcove, also made of marble. At the very top, there is a trim of carved, geometric designs, and right below that, an arched opening is framed by a series of delicate floral carvings. The central figure, Ganesha, sits cross-legged on a raised platform within the arch. Ganesha is adorned with yellow flowers around his neck. He has an elephant's head and holds various objects in his four hands. A small sculpture, maybe a rat, sits at the bottom of the statue. The platform on which Ganesha sits also has a bright yellow flower. Flanking the alcove on either side are two small, carved statues of male figures standing on ornate pedestals. These figures have bare chests, and they are each holding something. To the left, there is a small container with yellow incense sticks in it. Below the platform with Ganesha, the shrine has another shelf. The overall impression is one of detailed craftsmanship and reverence.
