This is a picture of a stone monument, sitting in a park in front of a large building. The monument is a large, gray rock. There is a bronze plaque attached to it in the shape of a shield. The plaque has the following inscription: "IN MEMORY OF THE MANY AMERICAN SOLDIERS, WHO, DURING THE WAR FOR INDEPENDENCE, DIED PRISONERS OF WAR IN THE JAILS OF PHILADELPHIA, AND WERE BURIED IN THIS GROUND DURING THE YEARS 1777 AND 1778, ERECTED BY QUAKER CITY CHAPTER DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, OCTOBER 1900." The building behind the monument is tall with white walls and many windows. The ground around the monument is a mix of green grass and brown leaves. There is a walkway to the right of the monument, leading to the building.
