It was Pride while I was in Munich, and they were having a festival in the square outside Neues Rathaus. While the vendors and live music were fun, what really caught my eye was the state of the world, displayed as flags on the building; Ukraine and Israel flags flown alongside the German flag, with Pride flags given equal weight on the other side of the tower.
