This image depicts a memorial in a stone cathedral. In the center of the image is a large stained glass window. The window has three sections with ornate designs. The top section contains a small circular design. The two lower sections are more rectangular and feature detailed patterns and figures in reds, blues, and yellows. Under the window is an elaborate stone memorial with a small inscription on a plaque. The inscription says "In memory of the right Hon' Spencer Perceval, Chancellor of the Exchequer, First Lord of the Treasury. This monument was erected by the Prince Regent and Parliament to record their deep sense of his public and private virtues and the Nation's abhorrence of the act by which he fell." Under this, the date of his birth and death are listed as "Born 1 Nov. 1762. Assassinated within the walls of the House of Commons, 11 May 1812." On either side of the main inscription are more elaborate stone carvings and the remains of an ornate stone coffin with the figure of a man and woman sitting on the top. The cathedral's high vaulted ceilings are visible above the memorial, and the overall tone is somber and reverent.
