We passed this on the way out of Chloride, Arizona and I had to stop to shoot this, but getting to this final image has taken literally years. The raw images have just terrible LoCA, and because I originally shot this as an HDR, that LoCA got just even worse. Couple with some missing pictures to make the sky whole, and just the weird distortion my perspective had, and I thought this was a near-impossible render. I finally cracked it by stepping back from HDR and, counterintuitively, removing images from the render. The actual sky was pretty boring cloud cover, so I used Luminar Neo to replace the sky.
