The image shows a carved bust of a man with a crown on his head and a long beard. He is sitting on a carved stone throne. The throne has carvings of three men in work clothes holding pickaxes. Above the bust is a rectangular stone plaque with black lettering. The lettering is in Polish and reads: "In honor of the creator of the statutes of the Krakow Salt Works, on the occasion of the 600th anniversary, this chamber was named after King ..." The last part of the inscription is illegible. The plaque is mounted on a rough stone wall. To the right of the image is a red and white sign that reads: "No touching carvings" in both Polish and English.
