The deer in Nara Park were really something else. Legally protected as messengers of the gods, they are friendly and tame with almost no fear of humans. I was able to scratch their heads and even boop their snoots. They've learned how to get treats and will bow to tourists to try and get food.
This beautiful lady gave me this great pose, and if you look closely in her eye, you can actually see my reflection in it!
