After Motomachi, we worked out way to Kobe's Chinatown. Our first stop was a street vendor selling tanghulu—fresh fruit dipped in hard-crack sugar, giving a hard, crunchy bite that gives way to soft, sweet, tart fruit. I had giant green grapes and strawberries, liking the green grapes better. We then explored more, and I found this street with this wacky wavy inflatable arms guy. His right arm was going around in circles, beckoning passers-by in. I took a few of these (again, all handheld!) and liked this one the best.
