This sculpture of Laocoön and his sons from Versailles, stood out to me for how expertly crafted the human form for all three figures is, especially compared to how dopey the snake's face looks.
When trying to find if this sculpture had a name, I was intrigued to find that this is not only based on a classic Greek myth, but almost this exact sculpture exists many times over throughout the world by a number of different artists.
